Marcell Ozuna, an Atlanta Braves outfielder, has was arrested on Saturday for aggravated assault, strangulation and the offense of domestic violence, according to prison records.
Ozuna, 30, was arrested by the Sandy Springs Police Department, according to Fulton County Jail (Ga.) records. Sandy Springs is a northern suburb of Atlanta and no further details were immediately available on the arrest of Ozuna.t aggravated assault is a felony in Georgia.
Major League Baseball will investigate the case.
