Ripple expects SEC XRP lawsuit to end next year, CEO says. very good progress '

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse discussed the XRP by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in an interview with CNBC on Monday.
Garlinghouse said he expects the lawsuit to be concluded within the next year, elaborating:
“Obviously we see good questions asked by the judge. And I think the judge realizes it's not just about Ripple. This will have wider implications, ”the Ripple executive added.
The SEC sued Ripple, Garlinghouse and co-mad under Christian Larsen in December of last year, alleging it sold for 1.3 billion dollarsars of the target XRP tokens in an unregistered securities offering. However, Ripple and the executives claim that XRP should not be considered security.
In the middle of the lawsuit with the SEC, Ripple released a proposal for a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies last week called " A real approach to the regulation of cryptocurrencies ". Garlinghouse explained that "the proposed policy framework is a three-pronged approach to what can be done now, " noting that it is the result of Ripple's direct interactions with regulators.tors and bipartisan policymakers ". Ripple's CEO has repeatedly stated that the SEC has not given no clarity on crypto regulations.
Garlinghouse isn't the only one seeing the SEC v. Ripple case progressing. In October, Brian Armstrong, CEO of Nasdaq-listed cryptocurrency exchange Brian Armstrong, said the SEC v. Ripple case "appears to be is going better than expected .” Coinbase removed from the list XRP in January, shortly after the SEC launched its legal action against Ripple and the two executives.
