'Ethereum: The Infinite Garden ' Documentary project raises 1,036 Ether

The initiative managed to collect 1,036 ethers from over 600 backers in just three days, more than their initial goal of 750 ethers. The team is now entering the pre-production phase by connecting with people from the Ethereum Foundation.

The team has also integrated thefamous NFT artist pplpleasr to produce an NFT animation to be featured in the production credits when ready. She has worked on creating digital effects for films like "Batman v Superman ", "Wonder Woman " and "Star Trek Beyond ".
Inspiration and origins
The inspiration for this documentary comes from the 'idea that Ethereum is an "infinite garden ", instead of a decentralized global computer. This is the perspective of Aya Miyaguchi, executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, who imagines Ethereum as a perpetual growth machine.
The film will be directed by Chris Temple and Zach Ingrasci, who have shot feature films for Netflix, HBO, Hulu, National Geographic and The Atlantic which have screened at major film festivals around the world. Optimist , an independent Los Angeles-based studio, will handle production of the film.
The team aims to have a first cut of the film ready by summer 2022, with the film premiering in winter 2023. However, the recent drop in ether prices may have affected the documentary's budget; The ether fell 12.5% to prices below $ 1,800 in the last 7 days according to data from Coingecko.
