Marvel Studios WandaVision took a sufficiently modern turn on Friday as episode 7 on the Marvel Cinematic Universe show hit Disney Plus . In the episode titled Breaking the Fourth Wall, Wanda Maximoff ( Elizabeth Olsen ) developed The Limits of Westview to Save Vision ( Paul Bettany ) d 'certain death after having is out from sitcom town.
Sign up for Disney Plus In doing so, she dragged astrophysicist Darcy Lewis ( Kat Dennings ) et dozens of government agents in his fake world. However, SWORD agent Monica Rambeau ( Teyonah Parris ) and FBI guy Jimmy Woo ( Randall Park ) escaped ion extensions, since they left to meet Monica's mysterious aerospace engineer friend.

Wanda enters her creepy basement in search of her missing twins, and Agnes is revealed to be the witch Agatha Harkness. It turns out that she was responsible for everything that gone bad or weird in Westview, including the arrival of Pietro Maximoff from the Fox X-Men Universe ( Evan Peters ).

There are somes clues that there is another force at work - including the super prominent cicada on the curtain in Agatha's living room. It 's not a million miles from a fly, a form taken by the demon Mephisto in his prime chronological appearance of comics . I'm really happy with the Spider-Man MCU is not married .

After Monica crosses the Hex barrier and returns to Westview, her DNA has been rewritten and she has acquired some abilities. She can perceive the electromagnetic spectrum, comme electricity in the pylons, and apparently absorbs kinetic energy when Wanda slams her onto the sidewalk.

Marvel Comics In the comics, she was given the power to transform into any form of energy in the electromagnetic spectrum after being bombarded by extra-dimensional energies. And the SWORD outfit she wore for her dsecond trip to Westview looks like his modern comic book costume.
Voices in the barrier
As she crosses the barrier, Monica hears a bunch of familiar voices - mostly a throwback to data Captain Marvel . Speakers include her late mother Maria, Monica's younger self, Nick Fu ry (!) And Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel).

Join the circus
Darcy finds herself in the role of Westview of an escape artist in the circus, but Vision wakes her up and she tells him her whole story. Now he is aware of the complete trauma Wanda experienced in Avengers: Infinity War , having killed him to prevent Thanos from getting the Spirit Stone, only to see him die again after Thanos reverses the time. The movie is so fast-paced that I hadn't thought how horrible it would be.
It's been five years in the universe since these events, but Wanda was among those Blipped Away and n 'returned that a few weeks ago . So that the trauma was damn fresh.
THE SWORD was sharpening
We only have a moment with SWORD director Tyler Hayward ( Josh Stamberg ), but he's determined to strike against Wanda today. mentions that the sitcom WandaVision is no longer streaming - probably because Wanda is taking her a day or Agatha has started blocking her as she prepares to move her.
Jimmy doesn't get much to do much either, but he confirms in Darcy's email that Hayward wanted to bring Vision back online. It ultimately took the power of Wanda to achieve this.
"Hayward wants his sentient weapon back, " Monica said.

Fan theories suggested that the Aerospace Engineer friend of Monica would be Reed Richards or energy -absorbent hero Blue Marvel - no, man. Major Goodner and his team are apparently loyal to Monica, but don't mention working for anyone else.
This again hints at a faction of SWORD that will stay with Monica, who will likely end up replacing Hayward as director once the plot thread ends.

WTF observations and questions
- The introductory riffs on The desktop and Modern Family .
- "I know what you are doing Wanda " flashes on the screen during the intro, in the style of a ransom note. It could be a salvation that Tommy and Billy were kidnapped.
- Kathryn Hahn is one of the singers on "It Was ______ All Along " which sounds a lot like The Munsters theme (and a bit like The Addams family too).
- "I actually bit a kid once. " Looks like Agatha needs her own Disney Plus series.
- Items evolve between periods, suggesting that Wanda is losing control. Or does Agatha take control away from him?
- "Don't believe anything that man said. It 's notyour uncle. "After Wanda seemed to agree Pietro, she suddenly warns Tommy and Billy against him. Does his occasional cruelty about Does Vision's death shake her from her delusion?
- The voices Billy hears are the true personalities of Westview 's residents. Agnes / Agatha is "calm" because her personality doesn 'is not deleted.
- An empathetic Monica seems to have access to Wanda before Agatha interrupts her, which hopefully is set for Wanda to come back from the edge.
