CMT honored the of the year Wednesday, the greatest country music performers at an invitational ceremony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. It was the first time since 2019 CMT Artists of the Year aired. Artists honored were Chris Stapleton, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini and Luke Combs, alongside Breakout Artist of the Year Mickey Guyton and Artist of a Lifetime Randy Travis. The show kicked off with Combs performing Forever After All , receiving its award from the hands of 'Eric Church.
