With TikTok's Top Territories section, it's easy to find out where your audience is, which will help you determine your best time to post!
In this example, a good part of our audience is based in the United States, with lower percentages distributed en Europe, Canada and Mexico.
However, unlike Instagram, TikTok does not divide this information into cities, so even though we know the US is the primary audience, there are a lot of time zones different times to take into account.
For example, if you are a New York-based brand and assume that the majority of your audience lives in Eastern Standard Time, you will certainly capture the audience in that time zone when you post.
But you have to take into account that most West Coast residents sleep at 8 a.m. EST, or just start their social scrolling sessions afterwards. noon when you If you do not take this into account, you may miss your engagement!

TikTok 's built-in analytics might seem a bit basic if you are used to the detailed Instagram breakdown, but make no mistake!
Everything you need to figure out the best time to post can be found in the Analytics tab, especially knowing when your audience is most active.
Under the Tracker tab of your TikTok Analytics, scroll down to find the "Tracker Activity " section.
Here you will find detailed information about the hoursmore active of your audience and the days of the week subscribers consume your content.
NOTE: TikTok data is recorded in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
This means that you will need to convert your subscribers' active hours to the time zones of your audience's location to know when to post.
From this example, you can see that our subscribers are most active at 7 p.m. UTC - but we know that the Majority of our audience is based in the US, so we want to factor in EST and PST Time Zones.
Backwards we can convert 7pm UTC to 12pm PST and 3:00 p.m. EST, so we know when to post to reach those audiences!

It can also be useful to research the best times to post on other platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook !
If your brand is present on other platforms, and the most active and engaged moments are similar, chances are the best moment to publish on TikTok is also in this direction.
