Meghan Markle gave the public the very first glimpse of her daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor , in a video at The Archewell website celebrating the 40th birthday of the Royal Family on Wednesday.
The Duchess of Sussex was sitting in front of a wood-burning desk by a fireplace in her lush Montecito, Calif. home when the video began.
The camera quickly swept over Markle's workstation which featured a number of photographs including her husband, Prince Harry , son Archie Harrison, and finally a little one from Lili.
Lhe little girl was born in June at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Markle was chatting on video with the actress Melissa McCarthy to promote her 40x40 initiative , which is a program to help women affected by coronavirus pandemic re-enter the workforce through mentorship.

"I think mentoring is a way to help women regain confidence and rebuild their strength economic, and on my birthday, I asked 40 friends, activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to help launch a global effort by contributing 40 MINUTES OF MENTORSHIP to help women reintegratemanage the job market, "the former American actress wrote in her mission statement.
" With this time, I hope they will help everyone to progress in her professional life on her own terms, and I hope they inspire countless others to donate 40 minutes of their time as well, "she shared.

According to Archewell, celebrities and influencer people like Adele, Amanda Gorman, Deepak Chopra, Dr Ibram X. Kendi and Gloria Steinem are already committed.
Markle welcomed a baby girl in June.
"On June 4th we were blessed by the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could ever have imagined, and we remain gratefults for the love and prayers we have felt across the world "the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in a statement written at the time. " Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family. "
Her first name, Lilibet, is a nod to Her Majesty the Queen's nickname. Her second first name pays homage to Harry's mother, Princess Diana .
The baby is the eighth on the British throne.
