The final release date for Biomutant has been set for May 25, 2021 after publisher THQ Nordic previously confirmed that it would arrive later in March.
After a long development cycle with more than a few diextended sparitions - and let's not forget the recent global pandemic - Biomutant is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC this spring. Next-gen support remains to be seen, but for now, we'll just fine-tune it for presumed backward compatibility.
In case you forgot after all this time, Biomutant is a third person open world action game featuring cute little animal characters and less cute and less small monsters. You may know it as "that game with promotional art of the protagonist of the red panda in a scarf " (see above). The developer’s Experiment 101 describes it as "a kung fu fable featuring fantastic creatures to discover, dangerous factions to roam, and a vibrant world to explore with robots, paragliders, balloons, mounts, jet skis and much more ”. everything to be packed into one game, but to its credit, the trailer Biomutant's most recent gameplay showed a lot of these things in action.
To give you an idea of how long Biomutant has worked and how likely it will evolve over the past few years, here's an excerpt from our initial preview in September 2017: "Biomutant is a very strange game with incredible ambitions, but most of all, it's already a lot of fun to play ... assuming you can stop creating weird new mammal lifeforms in the character creator.
Here are all of them the new games of 2021 and beyond at wait.
