Borderlands 3 introduces Season Pass 2, which starts November 10 on current and next-gen consoles.
Season Pass 2 will include two new DLC packs called Designer 's Cut and Director Coupe, plus new skVault Hunter ins which will be revealed later in October. The Designer 's Cut add-on, which launches on November 10, will include an additional skill tree for each Vault Hunter and a brand new standalone mode called Arms Race. We've already seen the new branch of FL4K's skill tree, which includes a new Hyperion Loaderbot as a pet!
Starting October 20 the Gearbox team will be hosting a series of feeds on the Borderlands Twitch channel describing other goodies that will come with the Designer 's DLC Cut. The Director 's Cut add-on has a release date slated for Spring 2021.
Like we have already reported , Borderlands 3 will get a miget free new generation update for PS5 and Xbox Series X on the launch day of each console. true, if you already own Borderlands 3 for PS4 or Xbox One, you'll get a free upgrade within that same family of consoles. Not a bad deal, eh? Season Pass 2 is a smart way to attract new players who might buy consoles. next-gen and current players whose Borderlands 3 gameplay may have recently expired.
Next-gen enhancements for Borderlands 3 will include 4K resolutions, 60 fps frame rate, and a four-player it-screen co-op splitter. Gearbox has also announced that aA vertical split screen for local two-player co-op will be added as a free update to every game release.
