The beta version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will introduce double XP for all players later today.
Activision and Treyarch revealed this later today at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. BST, dual XP and dual weapon XP will be activated for everyone Black Ops Cold War beta players . This is the usual reset time for Call of Duty activities, when challenges are usually reset and new rewards are introduced.
Week 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta launched yesterday, October 15th. Currently, the wormion beta is open to all PS4 gamers, but at this time it's only available to those who have pre-ordered the full game on PC and Xbox One. But that will all change tomorrow, October 17, when the beta opens fully to all players on all platforms, whether or not they have pre-ordered the game.
Yesterday, just before the the beta has launched for PS4 players, Activision and Treyarch have unveiled the new Fireteam mode: Dirty Bomb . The 40 player mode, available in the current beta period, features 10 teams of four players competing against each other, trying to finish uranium and drop it in When Black Ops Cold War launches on November 13 for current generation consoles, it will include cross-play entre all of the aforementioned platforms. PC, PS4, and Xbox One players will all be playing against each other in multiplayer, and Activision revealed in August that this cross-play feature actually includes the game's Zombies mode. Black Ops Cold War will be available on PS5 . Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S at some point later in the year, but Activision has not disclosed when.
