A 14-year-old boy was killed and nine others were injured, including five other teenagers, in two shootings just 10 minutes apart in Chicago on Wednesday night, according to a report.
Five of the victims, including the deceased teenager, were shot during the first filming around 6 p.m. in the city's North Lawndale neighborhood, reported by NBC "Chicago .
Other victims of the first shooting included a 16-year-old boy, who was shot in the head, and three men, two of whom are 24 and one is 22 , according to the report.
The 16-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition and the three men were listed in stable condition.
Three blocks away, several gunmen opened fire about 10 minutes later, hitting four teenagers and a 22-year-old man.
The teenage victims of the second shooting were between 14 and 18 years old.
The 18-year-old was taken to hospital in critical condition and the other four victims were listed in stable condition.
No arrests were made immediately.
