Cris Tales , the love letter that jumps back in time to JRPG classics like Chrono Trigger, FinalFantasy 6 and Valkyrie Profile, has been postponed until early 2021, Modus Games studio has announced. Development on the independent project began in 2014 and was originally slated for release on November 17, but it looks like Modus will need a few more months to get it right.
"We are a very small video game development studio located in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia " says Modus in the delay announcement. "Cris Tales is the biggest project we've ever worked on, and we want to get it right.
It 's not exactly clear what caused Modus to postpone the release date, but it appears that players have raised issues with the Cris Tales demo, which went live in July. "With the release of the console demo, we haveWe have seen some of you give us feedback on some fronts. we also want a and we want the Crisbell adventure to be told in the best possible way, so we hope you will take that extra time as the time we need to polish the experience, we are sure you will will love and cherish all of them, "the studio explained.
