The dataminers have discovered information about what they claim to be a new unannounced mode for Apex Legends : Arenas mode.
While we don 't have much to do yet, Shrugtal did dig into the backend and shared a screenshot that details "the arenas " and "arenas mode ", including the suggestion that the next mode will have special UI slots.
" They mentioned wanting to bring back Skull Town, " Shrugtal added in a follow-up tweet that wondered how an Arenas mode could be implemented (thanks, Comic strip ). "Maybe that 's the solution, for example, a " Skull Town-only "map with a handful of squads?
Of course, these are just rumors and speculation at the moment, and while the code is real, it's impossible to say when - or even if - we'll see it activated. But since it seems to have been addede in patch 6.1, I hope we will see this sooner rather than later.
