Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is bringing in Xochitl Gomez, and we might already have a pretty good idea who she 's reading from.
The young superhero was first shown at Marvel Comics in 2011, where she originally went by the name of Miss America. After joining the Young Avengers, we learned that sheIt was not from our Earth, but rather from the Utopian Parallel, a place that exists outside of the usual multiverse travel shenanigans that we expect from Marvel Phase 4 .
Reports circulated in August that Disney was looking to play a teenage girl to play the America Chavez role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Gomez fits the bill perfectly. None of this is confirmation, of course - she could always play a new character, or someone else entirely. But it stands to reason that Doctor Strange would come across the young woman from beyond space and time at some point.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2022. We will have the opportunity to see the previous character in Spider-Man 3 as a new mentor for young Peter Parker .
