Store ownerFurniture dealer in Connecticut convinced a woman to go into his store's basement to "test" a mattress - then he sexually assaulted her there, police said.
Hennawi Salem, owner "of Salem Furniture in Bridgeport , was arrested Tuesday for allegedly "luring a customer " into his Porter Street business and asking her to "lie down " to try on the merchandise, Bridgeport police said.
Salem then told the woman the mattress was free before sexually assaulting her. r, police said.
Salem was arrested at his business on a sexual assault warrant fourth degree.
The allegedly lewd owner was previously arrested in September on charges of third degree sexual assault, illegal second degree restraint and risk of child injury after three womens victims have brought "similar charges, " police said.
Salem was released earlier on $ 60,000 bail for these charges, according to " court records cited by the Connecticut Post . The case is still pending and it had not yet pleaded, the newspaper reported.
Salem posted $ 70,000 bail after his arrest on Tuesday, a Bridgeport Police spokesperson told The Post.

Calls to the furniture store from Salem went unanswered on Wednesday afternoon and messages seeking comment regarding the charges were not immediately returned. It is not known whether Salem had hired an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
The store's website and Facebook page, meanwhile, present it as a place where shoppers can get “low prices and great quality”, reliable service.
