"For me the SSD is amazing. I'm impatient and I don't. Doesn't look like any kind of load time, " Barlog said in the interview . "So we've gone to great lengths in this series - since the PS2 - to try and hide any kind of loading. So you never really feel like you have that artificial game break layer. We let the menus do that and update and everything. There are some really cool things that I think we're going to be able to do. "
Then Barlog pointed the finger at that he always feels a bit of melancholy going from one generation to the next, because that means starting from scratch with one of the tricks the developers are discovering to get the maximum speed andpower of a console (just compare Infamous: Second Son and Ghost of Tsushima , two open-world games from the same studio). That said, he thinks the transition will be easier this time around than in the past, and he can't wait to see what people are doing.
"I think we're gonna have a lot of cool surprises from different studios," Barlog said. "Even the games you love, oh I know what they're doing over there , it's going to be a lot of interesting things that I think people will start to try. It might be a few years before we really start to see the real magic that I think people will be able to accomplish with any of these materials. So it will be super exciting. "
Barlog was caught in sandwich in the segment between the appearances of Selena Gomez and The Last of Us 2 actors Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey and he wrapped up his segment by finally confirming what he's been working on since God of War came out in 2018 ... well, I'll let him tell you in his words: "I'm just catching up with a lot of Paw Patrol.
Thanks for that, Cory. Anyway, here is our list of Upcoming PS5 games .
