Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford says he got his hands on the world's first physique PS5 game . In a recent tweet, developer Borderlands showed off their copy of the Godfall launch title.
In his tweet, Pitchford called on "other game lovers, peers and enthusiasts " to "see the first jeu [PS5]. "He goes on to say that the disc was " out of the press ", " and "the first to make next-generation retail games in the world. "
That's a pretty big claim, but in this case It's a decent chance, it's legitimate - Godfall is a PS5 launch game , and there are only a few weeks left until the PS5 release date November 12 (or November 19 if you are in the UK ). As the CEO of the game's publisher, you would imagine Pitchford might have access to an early copy, though it's also very possible that Insomniac teams, Treyarch or Ubisoft had their hands on copies of the ir games.
In addition to photographic proof that Pitchford held a Godfall box, his tweet reveals quite a bit of new information about the game thanks to a photo of the back of the box. This confirms that there is no offline mode (but you will not need a subion to play on your own), and that you will sacrifice at least 50 GB of the PS5 storage space if you 're planning to play. The deion also mentions that Godfall will use the complex sensory features of the new DualSense 5, although it is not known which effects they will be used.
