The developer from Hitman 3, IO Interactive, has released details on the various game modesfeatured in Agent 47 's next comeback in January 2021 .

With the return of several game modes, you will be familiar if you 've played Hitman's previous entries in the series, the next installment includes Elusive Targets, Escalations, and Contracts, as well as Sniper Assassin mode. With a recap of each mode confirmed to be in Hitman 3, IO Interactive 's post gives a detailed look at some of the changes that will put a new spin on the modes.

Elusive Targets sets up the "Hitman's Ultimate Challenge", where you have to hunt down a special target.Using the HUD or the Instinct ability which allows you to see enemies or civilians in the area. How to hit your target and take them down will be up to you. There will be a few changes coming to shake up the formula for this classic mode, which should be revealed at a later date.

Escalations are also making a comeback, except this time around, new items will be added to put your assassination skills to the test. With heightened security cameras, disguise restrictions, and all manner of "complications", the mode looks set to make taking down your targets even more difficult.

Contracts lets you choose your own goals and leaves it up to you to decide how you want to eliminate them. Once you have achieved your goal, you can share the challenge you designed with friends to compete for the highest score. Said include powerful research tools, you will be able to find the types of contracts you want to play and accept them. contracts offered by IO Interactive which can be played by the whole community.

As the name suggests, Sniper Assassin mode isa matter of long-distance elimination. When taking out targets and guards, you'll need to make sure you don't set off any alarms and attempt to overcome challenges to increase your score. The mode will be available to play on existing maps in Hitman 3 as a single player experience only.

And finally, IO Interactive reveals that the competitive multiplayer 1v1 Ghost mode will not be coming to Hitman 3. The mode's servers in Hitman 2 will also be closed from August 31, 2020, but the unique unlockable Phantom Suit Mode will be added to Hitman 3. More news on the return of Agent 47 should arrive later this month.

Hitman 3 will let you play the entire trilogy on PlayStation VR .
