Epic Games has confirmed that tomorrow's Chapter 2 - Season 4 update will not ship to iOS.

According to developer , its ongoing feud over gaming revenue share has led Apple to block the latest update on iPhones and macOS.

The whole muddle started a few weeks ago, when Epic announced its own direct mobile payment option - bypassing both the App Store and Apple and the Android Google Play Store. The plan was for Epic to lower the price of Fortnite's in-game currency, the "V-Bucks," by avoiding the sharp cut taken by the respective storefronts of Apple and Google. Epic touted this as a consumer-oriented initiative, stating that "If Apple or Google lowered their payment fees in the future, Epic will pass the savings on to you. "
