Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga may not be released until 2021, according to a post that has since been removed from the official Lego Store website. The page current ly says The Skywalker Saga - Coming Soon after a brief period where the link only displayed an error code. After Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was announced and premiered at E3 2019 (check out our coverage here ), fans were eagerly awaiting a release date official. Like Gapreviously reported mesRadar in May of this year, a privately uploaded YouTube trailer appeared that allegedly revealed a release date of October 20, 2020. The trailer was quickly taken down, depriving us of the possibility of confirming this presumed release date. Now there's even more disruption in the strength of the release date, like the blink-and-you 'll-miss-it Lego Store listing makes it clear that Skywalker Saga is coming in 2021. If the delay is indeed true, this is no surprise given the difficulty faced by game developers when working under COVID-19 restrictions. Does a potential release date of 2021 mean the game will be available on next-gen consoles? The title was previously only announced for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but a postponement to next year that falls well after the release of the Xbox Series X and the PS5 could change things ... Either way, hopefully it doesn't affect the final product, as the game has shown a ton of promises in our overview. In Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, you'll be able to play through the stories in any order you choose (can I skip the “Rey is a Palpatine” one?) And freely traverse the Star Wars galaxy from a free hub world -roam. If a Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga release date is confirmed, we'll make sure to update you accordingly.
