A woman who eventually received an engagement ring due to Leicester City's FA Cup victory after 73 years was awarded the trophy himself.
In 1948 Margaret Angell, today the 96-year-old was promised by future husband Cecil a ring if the Foxes lifted the FA Cup.
Cecil died in 2005, herSon Mike therefore kept his promise after the club's 1-0 win over Chelsea at Wembley in May.
Now club legend Alan Birchenall has marked the event with a surprise visit to Ms Angell .

The promise became a family legend after Leicester City were defeated in the FA Cup final in 1949, 1961, 1963 and 1969.
After the story made headlines newspapers , the club arranged for Mrs. Angell to see the trophy in real life.
Mrs. Angell said: "It 'sa beautiful trophy and I was so surprised when Alan Birchenall came to meet me with.
"Thanks to everyone who helped win the cup, I'm very proud of all of you.
" Every time we get to an FA Cup final and were losing, my husband just refused to look at me and I just told him don't worry.
"But now thanks to my son I have an engagement ring and he kept his father's promise. "
The ring was named Yuri - after midfielder Yuri Tielemans - whose spectacular 25-meter final ensured the victory of the Foxes.
