Update: Sources familiar with LG's plans have indicated data CNET that the LG Rollable will arrive in 2021, and an LG spokesperson has just confirmed to Nikkei which it will be " launched this year. "
Original story: We have heard rumors regarding the LG Rollable for a while now, but at CES 2021 , LG officially confirmed on nom from the phone, while also p a brief overview of it in a teaser.
From the teaser you can see something that looks a lot like a conventional smartphone, but with edges that stretch out to create a small tablet, as seen in the image above .
This makes the design very different from a foldable phone, but the end result is somewhat similar, giving you the option of either a large screen or a smaller one to any time.
There is still a lot to learn

We don't know anything else about the LG Rollable yet, including when you can buy it, but with LG offering a clear view of the front of the phone in a teaser, it is very likely to go on sale this year, and maybe sooner rather than later.
I hope you saved you gh, because a recent leak suggests that the LG Rollable could cost as much as $ 2,359 (around £ 1,775, AU $ 3,130).
Yet LG isn't the only company working on a rollable phone - the The Oppo X 2021 concept phone rolls around too, as does a concept device from TCL. There is no guarantee that either of these phones will ever go on sale, but sooner or later there will likely be more roll up phones on the market, so hopefully that some of them will be affordable.
