DC has released a preview of Dark Nights: Death Metal Guidebook # 1, the title from the August 18 anthology with stories written and drawn by Death Metal architect Scott Snyder, with JamesTynion IV, Joshua Williamson, Chip Zdarsky, Becky Cloonan, Vita Ayala, Christopher Priest, Doug Mahnke, Khary Randolph, Dan Panosian, Eduardo Risso, and more.

"If you've read Dark Nights: Death Metal, you know the world as we understand it is gone, " reads the DC deion. "Instead, our planet has been transformed into a nightmarish hell landscape overseen by the Batman Who Laughs - or as he now calls it, the Darkest Knight - and his many minions.
The guide promises to shed some light on the matter as readers discover a mysterious hood observing DCU Earth from space.
