A peach-pink ”bird that was found by a worker at a factory in Wiltshire was actually a young white dove recopen of tile pigment powder.
The young had fallen out of its nest and in a barrel of pigment powder an nd was taken to RSPCA Oak and Furrows in Cricklade, Wiltshire .
RSPCA 's Anj Saunders said: "We tried to give Pinky a bath, but it only accentuated the color.
Pinky should remain in terracotta for the next few months until the molt.

The young orange rose gster was discovered on the floor in the shed pigments from a tile factory a few weeks ago, the RSPCA said.
Ms Saunders, deputy director of the center, said it was "the " 'one of the strangest rescues "they ' ve had this year.
" We opened the bag and thought, 'oh, we don't normally see this ', "she said.
" But he was kinda nice and jumped out of the bag and sat on itmy shoulder and I fell asleep. "
She said the bird, which was not far in flight, should have been a beautiful white but was "covered in powder rather than paint ".
"We tried giving it a bath, but it just seemed to fix the paint more, " she said.
"So we cleaned his beak, cleaned his feet, and kept him in intensive care for a few days.

She said the center nowadays receives "all kinds of amazingly colored pigeons " including "fancy breeds " black from jet that escaped the aviaries.
"Pinky has a boyfriend right now called Jet who is a gorgeous guy but we're going to have to look for an aviary for him " she said .
"As for Pinky, he is a very beautiful bird but he is a bitsilly right now and will work fine on people, so it's going to take a while to unleash him before we can free him. "
