Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a PS5 exclusive, will receive a second gameplay demo this Thursday at the opening night of Gamescom live.
While June's first reveal gave us a brief (but visually stunning) glimpse into Rift Apart's interdimensional gameplay, Keighley confirms that this week's demo will be "full, longer " and 'uncut '. Given its graphic prowess and unique premise, we're really excited to get a bigger taste of this fun adventure.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be the first release of theo Iconic intergalactic since 2016 Ratchet & Clank. In case you missed it, the reveal trailer featured our heroes rapidly warping through intergalactic rifts, new grappling hook, rail squeak, gunshot action signature to the series and, of course, plenty of Pixar-worthy cutscenes.
As of yet, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart does not have a confirmed release date. While game developer Insomniac is currently working hard to prepare for the exclusive launch of Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5, it seems unlikely that Rift Apart will also be available in time for the PS5 debut. Still, with a second look at the game far sooner than expected, Rift Apart's release might not be as far as we'd guessed.
