Quantum error ps5 gameplay shows next generation cosmic horror

Developer Teamkill Media offered another exclusive preview of their upcoming PS5 game Quantum Error at Future Games Show live, with a five-minute gameplay demorich in atmosphere, and not for the faint of heart.

Studio president Micah Jones kicked off the walkthrough with a quick rundown of what to expect from Quantum Error, which he describes as an "FPS of" 'Cosmic Horror' which sees you step into the shoes of firefighter Jacob Thomas and sent to a San Francisco lab to save those inside a mysterious fire.

The full demo can be viewed in its entirety below:

As you can probably see, Quantum Error is not pulling any of his hits, with mind-boggling visuals, fast-paced boss fights, and an unreliable power grid that means Jacob often has to rely on thermal vision to navigate every claustrophobic environment.

Teamkill Media has talked about the next gen power of his physics engine before, and you can see that in the way each enemy reacts to Jacob's shotgun blast, limbs often burst with each successive hit. . .

Quantum Error is expected to be released on both PS5 and PS4 in the future, but Teamkill has yet to give a firm launch window.
