It was about 20 minutes after the start of my interview with Schitt 's " Creek star Emily Hampshire when she declared us best buddies. She was my guest on the "podcast I 'm So Obsessed from CNET to discuss their new show on Epix , called Chapelwaite . "She stars alongside Oscar-winning actor Adrian Brody in the series, adapted from a short story by Stephen King.
I interviewed many talented actors and artists for I 'm So Obsessed, but what makes talking with Hampshire so important was its humor, empathy and relativity. She was happy to share how wonderful it was to work with Eugene Levy and Catherine O 'Hara on Schitt ' s Creek. She was vulnerable and shared the embarrassment she felt after the posts wrote clickbait headlines and stories based on topics she discussed in an interview with Demi Lovato.

Hampshire made me feel like a friend rather than just a fan. Being a nice person was a theme that came up several times during our 30 minute conversation. She explained how Levy and O 'Hara on Schitt 's Creek would outdo everyone.
"They are so Canadian, to the point that they are so polite. If someone offers them coffee, they will say " no, no , no. "And they 'll go and get coffee for the whole crew." Don ' t bring everyone coffee, "Hampshire said.
