A stalker who has targeted Sophie Ellis-Bextor will face criminal charges if he continues to contact her.
Nishil Patel, 39, bombarded Murder On The Dancefloor singer with "unsettling " messages and abusifs on Instagram.
He also left unwanted gifts at his neighbor 's house - believing it to be his own - and repeatedly turned around outside the property, a court heard.

Prosecutor Felix Keating told magistrates that Patel had targeted the 42-year-old star after meeting her on the way in July of last year.
He said Patel sent hundreds of the "concerning " and "disruptive messages ", which became more and more abusive.
He continued to contact her on social media even after she had blocked his account, sending him a message under a username that was his name spelled backwards, the court heard.

Patel also began to show up in front of a house he believed to be there.on Ms. Ellis-Bextor.
During a visit, which led to his arrest on April 26, he rang the doorbell and left a sticker on a car, magistrates said.
Police gave her a warning after leaving 30 wrapped packages, addressed to the singer, at her neighbor 's house on October 30 of last year.
He also left a wallet with his initials on and texted her "the wallet is blue, not black like your soul ".
The court heard that Patel had also contacted his husband, Richard Jones, bassist for The Feeling, and one of their five children, online.
A statement from Ms Ellis-Bextor, read by Mr Keating, said the behavior de Patel had "really unsettled her ".

Patel did not dispute the allegations and, when asked about possible objections, he replied: "Please place the order.
The court heard that Patel lost his job as a tax advisor in Feblaugh from last year, suffered from bipolar disorder and had previously been severed.
The harassment protection order means he will face criminal charges if contacted the singer, approaches her physically or goes to her address.
He must also provide the police with the passwords for any devices he has capable of record Internet history, as well as passwords to all social media accounts it controls.
The measures will be in place for five years.
