We all knew that it was going to happen, but now it's official: Squid Game has become Netflix's biggest series launch.
The Korean drama has been watched by 111 million users at during its first 28 days, knocking Bridgerton (82 million) down from the top spot.
Netflix counts one view as anyone who has watched two minutes of an episode.

Minyoung Kim told CNN: "When we started investing in Korean series and films in 2015, we knew we wanted to create world-class stories for major K-content fans. across Asia and the world.
"Today, Squid Game has surpassed our wildest dreams.
The nine-part series, which debuted in September, tells the story of a group of misfits taking part in a series of children's games.
There is a prize of 45.6 billion Korean won (28 million pounds) up for grabs, which doesn't sound too bad until you realize that if you lose you get killed.
From celebrities to sports stars, everyone's been talking about Squid Game.
The cast of the series have gained international fame - Jung Ho-yeon, who plays Sae-byeok, has gained 14 million Instagram followers since its launch on September 17, Forbes says .
So what's the secret to the drama's success?

Why is Squid Game so popular?
Similar in some ways to The Hunger Games or the 2000 movie Battle Royale, the show focuses on a group of people in South Korea desperately in debt.
They are first tricked (then volunteer) to play a deadly children's play tournament, realizing that this may be their only chance at gato earn the money they need to survive.
Chloe Henry is a fan of the Korean series and says Squid Game stands out above the rest.

She thinks the characters and the intense acting allow you to stay connected to the show.
"The actor who plays Seong Gi-hun, his emotion was so raw and it was so interesting to watch.
Seong Gi-hun is a lovable gambling addict with huge debt and facing the loss of his daughter. He is the main character of the series.
Chloe says the drama also gives viewers a different perception of South Korea.

Korean influence has grown considerably in the UK.
People here have searched more than ever for topics related to Korea on Google in October, according to Google Trends data , and last month The Oxford English Dictionary added 26 new words of Korean origin to its latest edition to surf "the crest of the Korean wave ".
As in the Movie Oscar-winning Korean, Parasite, the difficulties seen in Squid Game are whatmakes it appealing to an international audience, says Dr Hye-Kyung Lee - who researches the rise of K-drama and K-pop at King 's College London.

Dr Lee says other Korean dramas tackle social, economic and political issues, but Squid Game has been much more direct in his approach.
"It 's serious, the message is extreme and I think it reflects what is happening right now.
And that 's something Chloe is okay with.
"Other Korean shows may bee fairly modest, they do not show blood, nudity and they confuse weapons.
"It 's nice to be able to see things and be unexpected.
