We may only get used to uncharted territory in Star Trek Discovery season 3 but Michael Burnham (and the rest of the crew, presumably, if they arehave found) will return for Star Trek Discovery season 4 - and production begins in just two weeks.
As confirmed in a video posted on StarTrek.com , season 4 of Discovery starts on November 2, 2020. On It's unclear if that includes filming - and what precautions will be in place if so - but with the way Sonequa Martin-Green and Saru actor Doug Jones talk about the possibility of reuniting in person , it's a safe bet.
"I'm so excited to be back on set… It's going to be great to see everyone and I thinks we're gonna really love each other. " Martin-Green saide in the video, which also features co-showrunner Michelle Paradise and executive producer Alex Kurtzman announcing the Season 4 renewal while delivering Vulcan greetings.
No word on the usual Star Trek Discovery Season 4 news beyond a production start date: no cast announcements (no surprise, given that the season 3 is still ongoing), no release date and no further preview or teasers. Like Michael in the 32nd century, we fly blind on this one.
Speaking of this leap into the future, Alex Kurtzman recently opened to a sister post SFX magazine on the recent 1,000-year jump in their new number . "I do notdon't want to mess things up. But there is one thing that we were very excited about was being completely cannon free, "Kurtzman said.
