The new portion famous PS is now more accessible. PS
PS " at LAX is one of the most exclusive spots in the world. No, this is not a nightclub or fancy hotel, but rather a private lounge at Los Angeles Airport for VIPs only. He has his propre security, customs clearance, luxury amenities and access through the back door of your aircraft. But this elite hub just got a bit more accessible with the new social space, The Salon at PS.
The Lounge is a community space connected to the PS Lounge with many similar amenities without the need to be a celebrity. For example, you benefit from expedited semi-private TSA screening on departures, customs and immigration processing on international arrivals, and direct transportation to the aircraft through the airfield before take off. Inside, travelers have access to a full menu at the bar or in the outdoor garden.
Additionally, unlike airport lounges usually reserved for departures, travelers can also use The Salon at PS after landing at LAX. Travelers are picked up from the plane and taken directly to the Lounge, where they can rest and have a drink. As their bags are removed from the plane for drop shipping.
"We started with the Private Suites as our offering because it met the most pressing need - privacy. travelers who need privacy, the airport poses a risk to their safety or health and disruption to all other travelers, "co-CEO Amina Belouizdad told me." However, we have always knew we would expand our offerings to be more inclusive, and The Salon has been on our drawing board from day one. The onset of the pandemic has further amplified the need for an alternative crowd-free airport, we have it therefore launched in 2021. "
The main difference is that instead of private suites like the ones at the original PS, The Salon is more of a social club atmosphere with places to travto sit and relax among other travelers before and after the flight. Other restrictions include banning guests under 21 or pets, while spa showers, checked baggage, and valet parking are available at an additional cost and upon request.
"Part private member's club and part airport lounge, we believe the lounge is perfect for travelers seeking a more social experience that is always elevated, private and secure Belouizdad said.
PS is the only private terminal for commercial flights in the United States until they open to JFK, MIA and others. Internationally, VIP services exist, but they are all terminal and more like an airport lounge than a private terminal. As a result, they lack all of the amenities that PS provides, like valet parking, spa services, expedited security screening, driving to and from the plane., etc. The only exception is Heathrow VIP which provides almost comparable service.
“We pride ourselves on delivering a cutting edge VIP experience where every PS member is treated like a VIP,” Belouizdad said. “We believe we can offer the same service to a larger audience who prefers a more social experience. Plus, we'll always be the most VIP way to travel by commercial airplane.
As for pricing, member and non-member reservations for The Salon at PS are available at $ 695 per use per person. Meanwhile, the price for the private suite option starts at $ 3,250 for a group of four.
