It's hard, but I'm going to have to say Joel in The Last of Us because he's not a typical protagonist. Jose Hernandez
Joel is not a good person, he's just as bad or worse than any of the antagonists you are fight in the game. But this impurity is what makes him a great character. He's not a hero, he's just another guy trying to survive in the apocalypse.
The emotional growth Joel goes through in the first game is heartbreaking and powerful.
I have never played to The Last of Us, but I've always heard praise for Joel as a character. 👍 1 Jose Hernandez
What do you think? 👍 1 JeffreyHarris
I guess you really can't go wrong with Geralt de Rivia from The Witcher series. amazing voice of Doug Cockle. Geralt is a witcher. He tries to do his job and stay on the way and avoid political feuds.
However, he is constantly attracted to them. Deep down, he is a good man who cares about his friends and relatives trying to find his way, in a harsh and ruthless world. Jack Boreham
Mine 's the Master Chief / John 117. He's a tough guy who constantly finds a way to save mankind. I love his character because although he is in most of the primary Halo game series, little is known about him.
He 's the demon according to the bad guys, and for good reason too: a true legend and so cool. Nicolas Ng
I have to go with Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2. I hadn't played the original and wasn't expecting much from the story to be blown away by the narrative arc that it crosses.
His actor did a first jo throughout and the choices I was able to make during the game seemed to have an impact, basically everything a good protagonist needs Nicolas Ng
Jack Boreham have you read any books on Halo? My appreciation for the chef is influenced by learning from his training, his connections to fellow Spartans, and even his thoughts on Cortana. Limarc Ambalina
Nicolas, are they good? I looked at them in bookstores and was tempted but chose Ender 's Game instead which is an amazing book. Nicolas Ng
I wouldn't say these are the best books never made, but they are well written and build on the Halo universe. I really enjoyed reading them, however. 💚 1 Limarc Ambalina
From JRPG I would say Squall is a personal favorite because FF8 is my game FF favorite.
But I have to say that Ramza is not talked about enough in Final Fantasy Tactics. The growth of this character from start to finish is immense.
He starts off as a spoiled nobleman who doesn't know the hardships of the commoner class and ends up fighting the noble rulers at the end of the game ... which he was once very close to.
Nicolas, I didn 't succeed. But thislooks super interesting. I could pick them up. I was looking for a new video game inspired book to pick up. Am I assuming these are on Amazon? Jose Hernandez
It might sound like an escape, but I've always liked silent protagonists like the Doom Slayer. It's fun to print out what you think of the character's personality without him ever speaking.
