Pregnant woman killed by cocaine drugged motorist and "driving like him invincible ", an investigation has heard.
Yasmin O 'Donnell, 29, of Louth, died in a frontal crash on London Road, Burwell, Linco lnshire on July 15, 2020.
An investigation has revealed that Jason Dey was on the wrong side of driving her at 70mph in a 40mph zone and had double the legal cocaine limit in his system.
Ms O 'Donnell's husband said that his wife "would have been a brilliant mother ".
Coroner Paul Cooper said Mrs O 'Donnell, who was 12 weeks pregnant at the time of the accident, died of the consequences head injury.
Dey, 36, survived the crash, but is Suddenly died at the age of 37 in an unrelated incident.
Lincolnshire Police said if he had not died he would have been prosecuted for causing the death by dangerous driving.
The investigation was informed that Mrs O 'Donnell was coming home from work when her car was struck with such force that she was pushed back into theIt's another vehicle carrying a couple and their son.
A witness said Dey "drove like he was invincible, and he could have done what he loved ".
'Beautiful Person '
Ms. O 'Donnell's husband, Sam O ' Donnell, paid tribute to his wife after Tuesday's hearing, which took place on the couple's second wedding anniversary.
He described her as "a perfectly healthy person inside and out " and "hardworking , sweet and kind ".
" Yasmin was 12 weeks pregnant and we mourn not only for her, but for everything that could have been, "he says.
"She would have been a brilliant mother. Knowing that she was taken away from this experience makes it all the more painful for me and her family.
" The world lost a beautiful person, through no fault of his own, and it 's heartbreaking. "
