For generations we have imagined what it is to achieve peace in the target Middle East could bring benefits to the region and its people. Today, with vast natural resources, ambitious societies, and a growing population of around 65% under the age of 30, the Middle East is well positioned to move forward and seize new opportunities for leverage the region's unlimited potential and a transformative deal.
As we mark the first anniversary of the signing of the Accords, it is important that we assess their impact and potential. Abraham 's accords pave the way for the end of decades of conflict and a future of peace, tolerance and opportunity in the Middle East and the world.
To support and accelerate the transformation, we created the Abraham Accords Peace Institute as an international, non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting implementation and expansion of history peace agreement .
The Institute will increase the likelihood that these relationships will flourish, that conflicts will subside and that newopportunities and relationships will be created. It will pursue four interrelated pillars. It will work to develop exchanges between country participants, increase tourism between countries, foster people-to-people development to strengthen ties between countries and promote standardization through studies on intrinsic opportunities at Agreements attracting additional signatories.

The Abrahamic accords already created enormous economic opportunities, which will increase prosperity and the quality of life in the participatin g country. As commercial ties develop, the strength of the ties between countries and their peoples increases.will also lie.
Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics reported over $ 570 million in business with the UAE last year alone and Israel's Ministry of Finance projections indicate that it is expected to reach $ 1 billion by the end of the year, and $ 6.5 billion by 2025. Although new trade and capital flows can immediately benefit members of the Accord, they are also likely to have a significant ripple effect on the region as a whole and on the global economy as a whole as it recovers from the pandemic.

Standardization could create up to 4 million new jobs and $ 1 trillion in new economic activity over the next decade. Every tourist who takes a flight between these previously disconnected countries becomes an ambassador of the Abrahamic accords, regional harmony and the potential they represent for the region and the world. These people report their experiences to their communities and pashare with their friends on social networks. Tourism is a key driver of strengthening bilateral relations, people-to-people understanding and business activity.

The reunion of Muslims, Jews and Christians is an essential component of the Abraham Accords. This will happen in part through business and tourism, but countries in the region would also benefit tremendously from targeted programs to strengthen and accelerate the reconnection between peoples. Maps of the Middle East have historically depicted the region as the center of world trade. For decades, this ancient stage of the Silk Road facilitating trade, economic, cultural, political and religious ties between East and West has been severed due to disruption.political accords and a culture of mistrust that threatened regional economic development and international peace and security.
The Abraham Agreements, and the new connections that flow from them, offer an unprecedented opportunity to reorient market access and global transportation hubs allowing for improved efficiency and establishment Trusted supply chains on favorable terms to the United States and its partners.
Israel can leverage UAE as logistics hub for market access from India and Asia, Bahrain to expand ties with Saudi Arabia, Morocco for expanded access to the EU and sub-Saharan Africa, Kosovo for access to the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and Sudan to the Horn of Africa.
In return, signatories to the agreements can take advantage of Israel's strategic position in Eastern Mediterranean and its access to the American market.
The Abrahamic Accords, and the Institute that bears its name, have the potential to serve as a foundation at a pMiddle East peace process by demonstrating the tangible benefits of people-to-people links, commerce, commerce and mutual cooperation.
This new effort will help seize this historic opportunity to unleash the potential of the Middle East, ensure America's security and help the region turn the page on a generation of conflict and instability.
