I never h. heard students openly state that they don't care aboutpeople around them. The students put on their masks and come to school - so happy to be together again. I find it is the adults who find it difficult to cope with the changes in our world. Their fear prevents them from learning the facts, discussing openly and listening carefully. Nothing will be resolved until the adults lead with fear and anger. These are not anomalies . Unfortunately, school board meetings have become a forum where frightened and angry people descend onto an accessible government structure over which they feel they have the most control, and then, without filter or grace, hurl personal slurs demanding qSomeone is listening.Read More As a teacher trying to educate the students (some of whom are the children of parents participating in these explosions), I have reflected on what is at stake for the future generation if we don't change.
