Harry Potter rpg Hogwarts legacy would apparently allow transgender characters

Hogwarts Legacy , the next game set in the world of Harry Potter, will allow transgender characters.

As reported by Bloomberg, sources confirmed that players will be able to create a character that has either a male or female voice regardless of their body appearance.

Additionally, they will be able to choose to be either a witch or a wizard, regardless of their previous choices.This will then help determine which dormitory they are placed in and how they are addressed by other characters in the game. This news follows the controversy surrounding Harry Potter creator JK Rowling over his commentss transphobic. Rowling has been criticized for support anti -trans researcher Maya Forstater on social media and also faced backlash by going to transphobic rants on Twitter and pu blishing a essay which contained damaging statements and non-claims based on the trans community.

These comments from Rowling made it very difficult to support Hogwarts Legacy, and it led to WB specifying that Rowling has no direct involvement in this RPG developed by Avalanche.

Warner Bros. Interactive President David Haddad also spoke about the case in late 2020, saying: " I may not be in agree with her position on a range of topics, but I can agree that she has a right to have her opinions. Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation 5 Sho Screenshots wcase

Hogwarts Legacy was announced during of the P55 event of September 2020 and will be sending players to Hogwarts in the late 1800s to live the life of a young witch or wizard.

Last month, Hogwarts Legacy, which is also coming to Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PS4, and PC, has been delayed to 2022 to give " the game the time it needs.
