Since its release, the Monsieur Cuisine Connect by Lidl has made a lot of talk. Sold as an ersatz of the famous Thermomix, the German brand's multifunction robot had the advantage of costing much less than its model and competitor , with a selling price of 359 €, conbe more than 1300 € for a Thermomix TM6 for example. As is often the case when the hard discount distributor imagines a high-tech product, the success was immediate, to the point of quickly breaking out in France and abroad. Immediate popularity, however marred by the recent complaint from Vorwek, the company that owns the Thermomix brand. Accused of having plagiarized the original model, Mr. Cuisine Connect had finally been sentenced by the Spanish courts for violating patent protection legislation. At the point of having to withdraw his robot from the sale in Spain , and to pay heavy indemnities to Vorwek.
Monsieur Cuisine's last blow
Next March 12 Lidl should therefore strike hard again, by marketing the last copies his Monsieur Cuisine Connect at a discounted price in France: 297 € instead ofe 359 € , ie 80 € off its original price (and 5 times cheaper than the Thermomix). Several stores are expected to offer the connected device for sale. The complete list of the brands concerned can be found on the website of Capital , but it is mainly the departments of the North and East that will benefit from it, such as Yonne, Somme or Savoie.
Si you are interested in the food processor, know that March 12, 2021 could be its last sale . After the decision of the Spanish justice, France could consider similar measures. The brand therefore seems determined to sell the rest of its stocks before a possible sanction.
