*** Warning Spoilers ***
Just two short episodes before saying goodbye to WandaVision . As the conclusion of the first season draws closer, the writers slowly distill answers to our questions. If from the beginning Wanda was presented as the antagonist, episode 7 confirms that she is ultimately not the only one to control the Hex. During a musical sequence, we learn that Agnes is much more than just a neighbor. The character played by Kathryn Hahn is actually a witch known as Agatha Harkness . If the name doesn't ring a bell, it's because it refers to a character from the House of Ideas comics. Imagined by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1970, Agatha Harkness first appeared in Fantastic Four vol 1 # 94. She was then the governess of Franklin Richards, son of the invisible woman and Mr. Fantastic. This witch is also directly related to Wanda , since it is she who will later teach him the basics of magic. On the power side, for example, she can create illusions (like the Hex) and travel in the astral plane. She also has teleportation powers.

But what is her goal?
If we now know that it was she who manipulated the WandaVision couple and the entire city of Westview , his motivations are still unknown. It looks like unlike SWORD, which is very interested in Vision, Agatha Harkness is focusing her efforts on Wanda. She notably created a new version of her brother Pietro, with the aim of destabilizing her. She also forged a relationship of trust with the red witch, setting her against Monica Rambeau. She may also have been the one who created the twins, although the musical sequence gives no information on this. In the comics, it was from the energy of Mephisto that Wanda gave birth to her children. The two witches will confront him later, before Agatha removes the memory of her two missing children, fragments of power.r of the mighty demon.
Bonus: Monica Rambeau becomes Photon
Another comic book character has been introduced in this new episode. If for now she is not named, Monica Rambeau seems to gradually transform into Photon. The character created in 1982 in The Amazing Spider-Man is destined to later reprise the role of Captain Marvel. His new powers will no doubt allow him to face Agatha Harkness or even Mephisto, if the latter decides to point the tip of his nose. Answer on Disney +, next Friday. Small reminder, it is the last day to avoid the increase in the subion price, thanks to this little trick . Disney + is available from 6.99 euros per month
