At the end of last week, several leakers claimed that an Apple Keynote was scheduled for March 16. Barely hours after their statements, Mark Gurman kicked them into touch by explaining that his sources did not report any such event to him.
Everything has started with the publication of an article on the Economic daily News, an article claiming without a shadow of a doubt that the firm had planned an event on March 16 to present new products.

Apple would ultimately have nothing planned on March 16
Mark Gurman, for his part, does not seem to agree with his colleagues . In a tweet, he explained that his sources had not informed him of any Keynote for the month of March and that he therefore doubted that an event would be organized during this period. No event, no special announcement elsewhere.
So who is telling the truth? Mark Gurman, you probably know, has many contacts with the firm. He already had them when he wrote for 9to5Mac, and he has even more now that he works for Bloomberg. If an event were to really take place on March 16, its many sources would have learned about it.
In all likelihood, this is therefore the first information, that relayed by the Economic Daily News, which was wrong. And this despite the fact that it seemed quite logical, Apple having already organized such events.events at this time in the past. Even more when we know that the firm must have a lot of products to present, starting with the eagerly awaited AirTags.
What about AirTags and the iPad Pro Mini-Led?
AirTags, but also this famous iPad Pro Mini LED which has been talked about for a few years now. An iPad Pro that was supposed to be unveiled sometime earlier this year, at least according to the latest rumors.
An event in March therefore seemed rather coherent. The good side of it is that we won't have to do anything else to be settled ... than to wait quietly for March 16.
