UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov refused to waver when it came to ringing girls.
Nurmagomedov on Wednesday opened up about his controversial ring girl comments and refused to back down the controversy. In August, he said he would not have ring girls in his mixed martial arts class because they were "the most useless in martial arts.

The artist martial mixed retiree undefeated said he doesn't care about the backlash, according to Bloody Elbow .
" A month ago, someone asked me about … I have a promotion. I have my own Eagle Fighting Championship promotion and someone asks why there are no ring girls there. I say because I think (he doesn 't there's a) no reason. That's my opinion, "he said.

Nurmagomedov, a devout Muslim, said in August that he there would be no ring girls in her Eagle Fighting Championship promotion.

Nurmagomedov launched Eagle Fighting Championship in December. He hopes the company will eventually become a feeding system for the CFU and push MMA to the 2028 Olympics.
