LONDON, October 6 (Hfrance.fr) - Britain abandoned its opinion on Wednesday against all travel except essential for 32 countries and territories while it contNeeded to simplify its coronavirus travel regime after progress in tackling COVID-19 around the world.
The change will allow people to travel more easily to destinations such as Algeria, Malaysia and Senegal, which many travel insurance companies exclude covering places the government advises against travel, the Foreign Ministry said.
Britain recently replaced its so-called traffic light system with a single red list and has reduced testing requirements for fully vaccinated travelers.
The government still advises against all but essential travel for many countries and territories on its red list, including Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and Thailand.
