Hacking: Torrent9 no longer distributes any download link
Bad news for users of the Torrent Torrent9 link site: the site no longer offers any download links.
The Torrent9 pirate platform may soon disappear altogether. This is at least what suggests a rather strange situation observed by users since last Friday.
Thus, since last Friday November 16, Torrent9 no longer offers any illegal download link. A message in red appears on the site specifying "Torrent9 will no longer offer a download " while inviting "Attention! You should use a VPN! " Instead of the insert allowing access to files.
Clicking on the box returns to an offer of VPN paid (TrustZone) but the subion to the VPN service does not allow d 'access the requested file. Some users have shared their rumblings on social networks, criticizing the fact that the site seeks to earn commissions on the sale of VPN service by dangling access to files that are no longer normally available on the site.
In the process, Torrent9 ended up with a .ch domain name. This is a copy of the original site, and it is currently unknown whether it is a clone launched by opportunists or ifthe platform officially migrated to escape the authorities and the closure. Other copies are currently being deployed, as was the case during the seizure by justice of Zone Download (recently renamed Directory Download).
Torrent9 could also have simply done the ' subject to hacking, it remains complex to extract the true from the false on these platforms since the administrators obviously maintain the blur on their real identity.
